I decided to use gradients in order to add some depth, as I thought that made the bird look alive and more dynamic.
I also customised the font in order to add to the memorability and uniqueness of the logo.")

I decided to create a character that would perfectly match the company name so I came up with the idea of a 'crazy scientist' with flares in his working glasses to show the creation process and inspiration and then I chose to use red on black to create the atmosphere of inspiration and concentration.")

I aimed for the perfect flow of the transfer from one element to another in order for the concept to feel and look as a whole. I made the logo simple and clean as I figured that the owner would want it printed on a various range of media, including posters and clothing. The lack of unnecessary detail allows the company to use the logo in a smaller size and not loose from quality and clearness.")

The CH stated that the main goal of the company is to become the only source of providing all sorts of web applications.
I decided that a modern, techy yet clean and professional type would describe the company best and match their ideology.
I created a custom type consisting of a neutral base plus angular lines that created that techy, web feeling. Used different thickness of the lines to separate the word 'app' in order to make clear what the company offers.")

I came up with a custom type inspired by Bauhaus typography that I found while doing my research. I arranged every element in such a way that it look natural and precise at the same time. The Bauhaus rule is to only keep what is needed, so I made it as simple as possible, yet as unique and fresh as possible at the same time.")

My main goal was to keep it simple, yet with some depth and uniqueness.
The dog, its stance and everything altogether makes the logo highly memorable and recognisable.
The dog has a straight, healthy, one would say royal kind of stance, the kind of stance a well educated dog would have and clients would trust them their dogs for.")

I decided to modernise it and create a custom font that would match the music they are playing and the industry they work in. After doing some research, and based on my music band logo experience, I went for a symmetric logo design, with a shape of a hanging man as requested by the CH. I chose a colour palette that would create an atmosphere of doom and horror, and, using Adobe Photoshop added a grungy texture that finished the look. In the end, the logo resembled the old symbol that they had plus their name symetrically incorporated in it.")

At the time I was experimenting with illustration, and I went for a fun illustrative logo. My main aim though was to keep the concept clean and clear.
The number 19 used in the name is a simplified, outline version of the logo, which is a pizza golf flag and a golf ball that resembles number 9.")

It's a mobile app connecting craftsmen and potential customers online and I went for a flat, minimal design to match the web and mobile actual trends. And, to add some uniqueness and memorability to the logo and make it stand out of the other flat designs, I've concentrated more on a custom font.
I also provided an app icon for them to use for their app.")

Using my grids technique, I was able to arrange all the elements in such a way that the logo looks natural, proportional and works well as a whole concept. It also helped me match the thickness of the font with the lines in the logo.
The small square corners add to the symbols of video streaming.
I chose to use red as it's an energetic and dynamic colour, which I though matches the industry and company's ideas.")

After some research on the team and their logo, I created a colour palette that helped make the connection between my logo and the original. I also used the symbolic hat that fans wear on matches and a football on the background to make it obvious what the logo is for and what industry it is in. Using basic shapes I created the silhouette of a fan and the city skyline on the background of where the team originates. All in all a clean concept that matches the industry and the NFL spirit.")
About
While still a teenager I used to design for the local underground hardcore music scene. I did all the work for free, me being a part of it myself and friends with most of the musicians. That was sort of a charity act from me into the further growing of the local underground music industry.
Now I'm 20, studying Graphic Design at Oxford Brookes, UK. I've been working as a freelancer for some good years now with hundreds of customers from all around the world.
