La Federación Española de Enfermedades Metabólicas Hereditarias carece de ánimo de lucro y tiene por objeto prioritario alcanzar la mejora de los afectados por metabolopatías y aminoacidopatías, asesorando y asistiendo a éstos y a sus familias en el cuidado médico, psicológico, asistencial, etc.; trabajando en pro de un desarrollo afectivo y educativo adecuado y, en general, cualquier otra actuación que tienda a mejorar su calidad de vida, teniendo en cuenta las circunstancias especiales que concurren en familiares y afectados. Representando a los afectos por aminoacidopatías desde 1990. ¡Piensa en metabólico!
