The colors were chosen from the old page (was a requirement too).
I developed design based on the information, not too much fancy details around that could distract from the main purpose, which was to present the course to the users. All the sections are different from each other so they are clear defined and information flows from one section to another.
The contest was blocked, so I don't know if the client liked it or which was the proposal that won, but I'm pretty happy with my work, I think it drives the user through out all the course information, so it fits the purpose.")
