Orale is a full service Mexican restaurant that is focusing on Mexican street food such as tacos. We will be mixing an authentic feel with the grit from East LA's Mexican Culture. We want to draw from Mexican and Mexican American inspired aspects for the decor. We will be using Day of the dead traditional meets the west coast Mexican American culture. Imagine entering an eatery. You are met immediately with a burst of color. Welcomed by the swirling art of Mexican Americans – a mixture of old school, quintessential Mexican cultural Day of the Dead macabre of walking, waking skeletons. Grabbing a seat at the Taco bar on the way home from work for a quick snack, ornamented with the carved initials of memories past. Gaze at the menu. Upon first glance: Mexican. Mexican. Simple. Inspired mexican fare. Look further and realize: All locally sourced ingredients. Ingredients converging in a palette of Mexican color and texture. A food brimming with a layering of nuanced flavor. A menu comprised of ingredients forged from the same soil as the stories of our families. A food that captures the sheer soul and mettle of the neighborhood it is feeding. A food that captures the terrioir of Mexico – that unique otherness that only geography can infuse into a cuisine. We are an inclusive business. A business that has done away with the notion of the ever-evaporating customer service and that pledges to broaden expectations of true hospitality and community. We intend to feed a neighborhood – one genuine smile, one bite at a time. Comfort. For the management professional. For the student. For the yoga mother. For the foodie. For the nurse.
