Stralau Ventures is a small venture capital firm funding internet startups in the lead-generation field. I.e. firms that provide online information about something and connect the customers (if they are intersted) with an experts that helps finding the right product. Stralau Ventures focusses on this segment because it is highly skilled in this field and can provide highest quality support and service to the ventures it finances. The website ist stralau.com and stralau ventures will operate in german and english speaking markets around the world. Stralau is a very small but very beautiful, remote and green island in the middle of Berlin, Germany. It is also surrounded by water. I love water and water sports a lot that is why I love this little island to much. The website and overall design will most likely be white, grey and black with one strong color as a contrast (green or orange). Values of the company are: Focussed, Quality, Honest, Highly Skilled, Straightforward, Down to Earth.

I expect the text to be black but I am also open for suggestions. Also, I like the idea of incorporating "focus" into the logo. So maybe 1 or 2 circles with a + above as if you were aiming at something could transport this. I uploaded an icon that transports focus (o and +) and I thought maybe a mix between a compass and this icon could transport "orientation, focus, navigation and direction" which I would very much like to communicate with the brand... But these are just my own thoughts. You are the expert. If you feel strongly about a certain idea please feel free to go for that... Please do not use a very expensive typography.
