I ola nā manu nahele (Means "so the forest birds can live") (We want the option of including it in some versions, but not all).

Environmental

Hawaii has 17 species of native honeycreepers (birds) found nowhere else in the world. Many are on the verge of extinction. Mosquitoes carry and transmit avian malaria, a deadly disease that is decimating populations. This project is working to save these species by using "mosquito birth control" to help reduce mosquitoes in the forests where the birds live. FYI - Hawaiian honeycreepers are mostly red or yellow-green.
