About us

Uovo Moderno is a high end retail store specializing in housewares and kitchen-wares. Uovo Moderno not only sells items to complete your event or party, but more importantly they provide an in-store atmosphere in which you can immerse yourself and fully experience the design created by the products they sell. Uovo Moderno means "modern egg" in Italian. The egg is a symbol of the protective case of life, warmth, and life itself. The company has a very minimalist and modern design. They have an almost zen feel and the logo design should definitely reflect that in balanced use of black and white, positive and negative space.

Logo for socially minded multi brand company

This is probably one of my favorite design from last year that was quite challenging to make. Challenge was to make design for multi brand company owning business in very different industries so design could fit eCommerce store but work as a real estate investment logo as well. I had to design something along upward/growth theme so my decision was to design "summiting a mountain" themed logo. I had to make it unique as there are plenty of mountain logos so ended up with clean and simple logo conveying modern and welcoming personality. I think I managed to demonstrate professionalism and fresh thinking, but with a playful side. Client was extremely satisfied with my efforts to show this design various branding possibilities. All in all great end results for both of us.
