Brand Name Origin * Our name comes from the word “Clue”, meaning “information/evidence that helps to solve a problem”, and “X” stands for a variety of social problems. We aim to be a company that can provide the “clues” to help solve social problems - “x”. Cluex's Vision and What We Do * Among a wide range of social problems, we are focusing on “eliminating educational inequality”, and our vision is to “change the world with IT and education”. We believe that education starts at home, and that improving the disparity among families and parenting skills will lead to eliminating educational inequality. To provide the infrastructure to assist in eliminating educational inequality, we operate a parenting website, “mamanoko” (https://mamanoko.jp/). * As we operate a parenting website, our current main users are mothers. ========== ## 由来 * Clueは英語で「糸口、てがかり」という意味で、様々な社会問題をXとし、Cluexは社会問題(X)を解決していく糸口(cluex)となる会社にしたい、という思いで命名しました。 ## Cluexのビジョンとやっていること * 社会問題の中でも、現在は「教育格差を無くしていきたい」という思いで、「IT×教育で世の中を変える」というビジョンを掲げています。その第一弾として、教育の根本は家庭にあり、家庭・子育ての格差をより良くしていくことが教育格差を無くしていくことに繋がる、と考え、子育ての情報格差を無くしインフラとなるサービスになるべく mamanoko(https://mamanoko.jp/)という子育てメディアを運営しています。 * 子育てメディアを運営していることから、現在のメインユーザーはママです。

Logo: Update: 2017-03-10 - Logo style: Symbol/Icon/Mark + Text (sample images attached above) Our current focus is on parenting/child-raising and education. As we want to become a company that helps solve a wide range of social problems, we would like the logo to portray the warmth of people and to have an innovative feel to it. No characters/mascot required. # Style/Notes * Simple * Innovative like airbnb, yet still has a familiar feeling for women and children. * Using one color, blue, and having one of the letters in a different color is a possibility. * We aim to eliminate education inequality around the world and to solve social problems. With this in mind, we would like our logo to be easy enough for children around the world to draw. * Separate the logo (symbol/mark) and text. The logo part can be on the top or left. * Our name comes from the word “Clue”, meaning “information/evidence that helps to solve a problem”, and “X” stands for a variety of social problems. Business Card: # Paper Type Coated paper / Art paper # Size Japanese business card dimensions (55mm×91mm) # No embossing and foiling requirements. # No specific printing specifications. # Style/Notes * Horizontal layout. * Simple, not messy/cluttered/all over the place. * Front and back will have opposite colors (Front: White, Back: Dark color). * Back side has 1 dark color with “company name + logo (outline)” or “logo only”, is a possibility. * Planning on using glossy paper, but this may change once the winning design is selected. * Reference.
