About us
近年、人工知能技術分野のアルゴリズムの進展やセンサーデバイスの普及に伴い、データを活用したサービスの高度化や新たなソリューション創出の重要性が一段と増しています。このような環境の中、東京海上HDは様々な事故や災害によって蓄積されるリスクデータを活用し、事業の高度化を進めてきました。またPKSHAは、自社開発した機械学習・深層学習領域のアルゴリズムを用い、多種多様な企業に対して、既存のソフトウエアや各種ハードウエア端末向けのソリューションを展開しています。 PKSHAと東京海上HDは、2020年4月6日に「資本業務提携に向けた基本合意書」を締結して以降、両社で東京海上グループが展開する事業領域におけるデータ活用の具体化に向けて検討を重ねてきました。今般、これまでの関係性をさらに強固なものとし両社の経営資源を最大限活かした事業創出を推進するため、共同出資により新会社を設立し事業を開始することといたしました。 新会社は、東京海上グループ各社が有する様々なリスクデータやリスク予防ノウハウと、PKSHAが有するアルゴリズム技術を活用することで、個々のお客様や企業を取り巻くリスクへの対応を進めてまいります。設立後は、東京海上グループが強みを有するモビリティ、防災・減災、ヘルスケア領域等におけるリスクの検知・軽減等に向け、アルゴリズムを活用したソリューション事業を企画・開発してまいります。 新会社名の「AlgoNaut（アルゴノート）」は、ギリシア神話に登場するアルゴー船に乗り込む英雄達を表すArgonautとAlgorithmを組み合わせた造語です。「アルゴリズムを活用することによって、これまでにない新たなビジネスを機動的に創出する企業」との想いを込めており、社会課題を解決する最先端のデジタルリスクソリューションの創出に挑戦してまいります。
