About us
For the 100th anniversary of the Musikverein Seißen (brass band) a big music festival will be organized in the district (KMF 2024). For this we need a logo and a style guide. In the following a short insight into our club history. The club was founded on November 16, 1924, when the members of the then cycling club met and voted on whether to buy an expensive banner or instruments. Only one voted for the banner, the others wanted a "brass band". Eight instruments were purchased. Rehearsals were initially held in a member's living room. In May 1925, the first public performance was at a district hiking tour, which was satisfactorily completed. The logo was to match the traditional costume of the music society. The dress of the musicians is the Seißener Tracht consisting of the Blauhemd, the red cloth and the black Deckeleskäpple. This costume used to be the working clothes of the Seißen farmers. Pictures of the band are attached (MV-Seißen.jpg and MFA_MV-jpg). You will also find the current logo (Bild_Ururop_02.pdf) of the Musikverein. Target group: People with enthusiasm for brass music for young and old. In the logo should be present the following indicate in German: - 100 years Musikverein Seißen - District music festival 2024 - 20 June 2024 - 23 June 2024 In german: - 100 Jahre Musikverein Seißen - Kreismusikfest 2024 - 20. Juni 2024 – 23. Juni 2024
