In greek Mayá means yeast, used to make delicious yogurt from fresh milk. It also means magic. Mayá is a fruit and yogurt bar, located on a beach in a Greek island. We would like to give a traditional greek spirit in the logo. Mayá is definitively NOT like all other frozen yogurt places: the shop will not be plain white like a hospital but smooth and cozy, with plain wood, and warm colors. The place will be rétro but NOT american retro (i.e. no baseball fonts, no starbucks ideas, etc), we would like to combine traditional greek and rétro style. We would like to use the traditional wooden pot used for yogourt preparation/milk collection. (see pictures) A few words qualifing the place: traditional greek yogurt, fresh local fruits, homemade sweets, beach in front An idea we like: A pot of frozen yogurt with one piece of fruit on top and a real umbrella stuck in it (as in cocktails). The idea is to give the meaning of a beach yogurt bar.

Dont't get stuck in our ideas, be inventive! This logo will be printed on our cups and everybody will grab it. Feel free to try it your way, we might like it. We will try to be as reactive as we can. Thanks in advance guys, let the game begin !
