I am writing a book in Arabic

What's your vision?

This is for a book my father wrote, when he showed me the cover made by the publishing firm (Attached) I didn't like it and he agreed. I told him we should try 99designs. The idea of the islamic archway in gold and royal blue is important to us. other then that be creative. My father wrote the Notes below so you can tell what he wants from his side. He will be the one picking. If you have questions I am here to answer them.

This is like a door or Islamic arch with rich blue or gold patterns that shows a dollar or gold bars showing riches. the top has an a saying that God provides for all, in Arabic, and the title is road to riches, printed in bold. Attached is a rough design that is not rich at all. Also instead of the dollar bill I would like gold coins or bars.

This is a children’s book that tells the story of Inky, a boy with a “special power”: he makes people happy by touching them with his index finger. But there is one drawback. Every time he touches someone, he leaves behind a small Inky tattoo, like an "i" inside a circle. This is the first book in the series, where the boy tries to learn how he can make people happy without touching them, because none of his friends want any more Inky tattoos. Until he meets Pinky. She's always sad so Inky tries his super power on her. And guess what? It doesn't work on her. I created the illustration for this design, following the examples and descriptions given by the author, to perfectly match with the two main characters in the story. The vibrant colors were chosen not only to catch the attention of the children but also to transmit a joyful and positive atmosphere.

This book is the record of an intense, probing and ultimately life-transforming conversation between two people. One of the requests from the author was to include the figure of an "eccentric duck" in a dinner table eating sushi. With a complex photomanipulation I was able to create such character, giving it a positive appearance but without having a cartoonish style. Some details like the hat and the bow tie helped to give it a more "human" personality. Just to add a final touch, the landscape on the background also intensified how improbable would be such scenery.

This design was a layout proposal and was never published. The audiobook is a collection of 12 guided meditations aimed to single women looking for love (25 – 60 years). The client requested an inspiring and hopeful cover that should also be peaceful and comforting. I’ve chosen to create a very serene and clean design but full of meaning: the two lotus flowers that are the main spot of color (with a vibrant tone of fuchsia) represent the search for love between two people.
