Un jeune financier trentenaire, quitte Londres pour rejoindre un fonds d’investissement immobilier international à Paris et ne tarde pas à découvrir que se développe, à l’ombre de ce groupe prestigieux et de sa filiale jordanienne, un sombre trafic d’antiquités mêlé à l’exploitation de réfugiés syriens. Avec Laura, qui travaille dans une firme d’audit, il se trouve malgré lui, précipité dans cette mécanique frauduleuse. Tous deux se heurtent très vite à une organisation structurée, prêt à tout pour conserver ce commerce juteux. Les menaces et les dangers se multiplient, les trahisons s’enchaînent...
