Interbill
We provide billing services and software to lawyers and law firms. We have been in business for 40 years. We help our clients maximize cash flow through billing methods that their clients perceive as fair, responsive and professional. Our focus is on cashflow and simplicity.
Some sites that we like aspects of:
What we do not like about these sites, and in general:
Too much content on the homepage
Too much vertical scrolling on the homepage.
Too many footer bands
Too man large blocks of paragraph text
Too many links or the appearance that the homepage is like an index.
Too many moving pieces
Visual clutter
We are seeking a new design for our website homepage and content pages. We would like something that is not a simple rehashing of our existing site.
The new design should be clean and uncluttered, and simple to navigate, but should not be not overly sparse. We prefer a horizontal nav bar header/footer layout over a vertical sidebar layout. It is important that the new design look very professional and modern without appearing too dry or corporate.
One of our most important features is simplicity, so the website design should convey a sense of visual simplicity. Please review our current website at http://www.interbill.com to get an idea of the relative volume and depth of content we currently provide, but do not feel as though you must reproduce the exact same number of navigational elements.
We are looking to simplify and improve upon what we have, and we are open to concepts that reorganize and/or optimize how we present everything, in fact we would like to reduce the number of main navigation items down to something like 5 or 6.
We do not want any kind of drop-down menu system.
The homepage should drive users to take a free test drive of our product.
There should be a space on the homepage for various insignia such as the verisign seal and TRUSTe seal, as well as the various social networking sites, such as linked in, facebook, twitter. These items should be located somewhere at the bottom of the page.
Please do not attempt to match our logo font in the headings or other text in the design. Avoid using all-caps, small-caps or fonts with serifs.
Our target audience is attorneys and small to medium sized law firms in the US.
