Accounting & Financial
This is a utility site meant to provide easy to use tools to manage money between friends (the tab). The integration of social features (facebook) are to provide identity to users.
github.com, gmail.com, rememberthemilk.com are simple layouts with light color schemes. I'm looking for something similar. I do not expect people to use the site because it has the most amazing graphics - but because it's easy to use and solves their problem.
Home page. Should introduce the company and encourage user to try it out. Only visible for logged out users Bill overview. Displays what you owe, who owes you. has a left side nav. The same layout will be used for my account and bill submission later on (just different tab). Should have a white background, center layout. Light blues and greys preferred, or other lighter earth tones.
Target audience is 18+, most likely 25+. Most likely 80% will be between 25-35. People that have stable jobs that split hotel rooms, dinners, and bills.
