Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A website that provides daily tips regarding how you can become more environmentally friendly in your everyday life. You can also subscribe to these tips which would then be emailed to you each week day.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
The main body of content for the page will be the 'daily tip'. The daily tip must have the ability to be 'liked' on facebook or tweeted etc. Underneath the daily tip should be the tips for the previous few days (kind of like a blog layout).
The daily tip will be no more than 250 words, it will present the information in a fun and light-hearted way. It will be short sweet and to the point. Each tip will have a catchy heading, the content of the tip (which may include weblinks), short pieces of information under the headings 'the squeeze'; 'living lime'; and 'squeeze some more green out of your day'. (see attached image 'idea for a tip). This tip will also be emailed to subscribers each week day - ideally with identical layout/formatting. This will be done via icontact.com
Very prominent on the page will also be the short blurb about the daily lime (see website and uploaded images) - with a subscribe/sign up button above or below - that is also prominent.
Other Content would include: links to social media including twitter, facebook and google+, search functionality, either a tag cloud or list of categories to access previous tips. This content would be STATIC and be available on the only other page of the site an 'about us' page.
The target market is primarily women aged 24-40. They are urbanite professionals in the middle to high income range. They have busy lives and use social media to network, socialise and stay in touch with current trends. They are 'light green; they are concerned about the environment and would like to do more to protect the environment, but in a practical way that does not challenge their lifestyle. This is not meant to be preachy or political rather it is fun, sassy and light.
