top left - small generic logo and site name
top right - Subscribe to newsletter - make this fun and unique
Multi-level drop down menu bar - fully CSS3 - take advantage of the power of CSS gradients, make it unique (use Font Awesome icons)
Menu Bar = Home // Blog // Photos // Videos // About // Contact // Search
Contact - contact form should be within the menu bar similar to the sign-up feature shown in Menu Inspiration 1
Search- similar to Menu Inspiration 4, but with search icon to the right of the search box not inside - I prefer the search box color be close to the menu-bar color like that example
**Multiple Levels = icon-chevron-right will indicate more levels**
Slider - (see slider inspiration 1 & 2) - The slider and menu bar should set the tone of the page - all photo boxes/frames etc should have a similar style as the slider frame. The slider will support up to 7 slides and the slide you should have showing is the World Pin Map Plugin. Slider will have left/right arrows (doesn’t have to have navigation dots on bottom)
World Pin Map Plugin - This is a plugin that we will create that will display a pin for each city/country where a post/photo/video is tagged. The countries should have borders. Pins should be chunky and use Font Awesome icons. The map color style should fit with the site color scheme. Take a look at World Map Inspiration. We like that style except for the multi-level shadows, but be creative and do something unique.
World Map should adhere to Google Map Overlay requirements so that the size/dimensions are accurate.
Blogger Profile Area - to the right of the slider (see wireframe inspiration) should contain Blogger photo, traveler plugin, Social icons.
Blogger Photo (Font Awesome icon-user)
Traveler Plugin - see Traveler Plugin Inspiration photo attached - Need an original design for this plugin reflecting the number of countries visited, days on the road, and where the blogger currently is.
“Letter pressed” Social icons - use Font Awesome social icons
Popular Post Plugin below Blogger profile area - get creative with this.
Below the Slider should be 4 category photo boxes - see wireframe. These boxes should have a similar border to the slider border, the blog post title should be completely on the bottom like the wireframe, and the color of the transparent banner should be white and not black like the "Category Photo Link Inspiration" image.
Footers (3-tiered footer) Super and Sub-footer colors should be a similar shade of the footer color. So, if the footer is dark gray, the super and Sub footer should be either a lighter gray or a darker gray. The Super and Sub-footers should be the same color.
Super-footer - "letter pressed" style bar right above footer with social media icons (and another newsletter subscribe field)
Footer - 3 column
• left - custom "Polaroid" style gallery of recent photos added
• center - be creative - what do you think should go here?
• right - custom twitter plugin
Custom "Polarid" style Gallery - Photo gallery in footer on left - dimensions should be similar to an actual polaroid picture - 3x3 please refer to the Photo Album Wireframe Inspiration image and Photo Gallery Inspiration.
Custom Twitter plugin:
• bottom right footer
• 3 chat bubbles made from CSS3
• each with unique shape/color - but CSS3 compatible
• incorporate font awesome twitter icon
Sub-footer - standard link based footer with copyright 2013, sitemap, privacy, disclosures, WordPress Theme by haqpak Studios (™) - color style - same as sub-footer.
Blog Page: This should be fairly simple to do once you have the home page color scheme and style set. This is not a single post page, but rather a list of recent posts and excerpts. Once you have been given the green light to continue on with the blog page, I hope to see some creativity here. The top, menu, sidebar and footer will be the same as the homepage though.
