Campaign committee to elect Charles "Charlie" Schneider to the Public Office of DuPage County Forest Preserve Commissioner
What's your vision?
Campaign yard sign. Sign will be printed on 18"x24", white stock initially, but may on a larger sign or even a banner, after I print the 18x24's if finances allow. You may use up to two colors. (I'm not counting the white stock as a color). Signs are placed in people's yard's as well as along busy, fast moving streets so being able to read them from a distance is important. In a unrelated election, I ran for City Council but lost to a close race. I've attached my old city council sign for you to see. You'll notice from the sign the "Charlie" in script font. This has grown to be my trademark and must be incorporated. It is important that voters understand that I'm a Republican. Feel free to use graphics as well as text to create a tag line that. I encourage you to visit the DuPage County Forest Preserve website (http://www.dupageforest.com/) so that you can get an idea of the many amenities our residents can enjoy, and the role of a Commissioner. Please don't use any of their logos as they are protected by copyright. Additionally you may want to visit the sign printers website or contact them by phone should you have questions (www.mycampaignstore.com).
I am seeking the Republican nomination for the office of Forest Preserve Commissioner in DuPage County's 5th district. I am opposing a multi-term Republican incumbent that once did a good job, with great name recognition. The incumbent predominantly indicates on his campaign signs that he has a horticulturist degree, which seems to have worked in past elections. What the voters don't know is that this is an Executive board level position, and the Forest Preserve hires professional gardeners, so they don't use that skill. The newspapers have identified fraud that has been occurring within the Forest Preserve. In my opinion, this is due in large part to the lack of Information Technology knowledge my opponent has, which allows and continues to allow fraud to occur, simply because he does not know what to look for. I on the other hand, have extensive experience by trade, with computer networks and information security. He runs a one person landscaping business. I'm an executive in a technology organization, making key decisions that affect the lives of our employees. I hope my insight will provide you ideas so that you can unleash your creativeness.
