Hood River Home & Garden
Description of the product
This is a design for a box that will hold the “ingredients” used to start 4 bonsai trees from seed. The product elements themselves (what is included in the box) are pretty boring and unattractive (i.e., small bags of seeds, peat pots, etc.), so a big part of the product’s success will be due to the attractiveness of the box and its ability to help customers see what the end result of their efforts can look like.
Instructions on file type: Please follow the attached template and provide a PSD, AI, CDR, or EPS file in layers with minimum 300dpi resolution. Please provide a curved outline file. I received these instructions from my box printer. However, I know little about design files and printing, so if these instructions don’t make sense, please let me know and I will seek clarification. Instructions on style: Elegant, not too busy box. Amazon will be an important sales channel for this product. Want front side of box to have a fairly large photo of one of the trees as this will be more noticeable on the listings main image that shoppers will see when browsing Amazon’s catalog. Please include all attached photos, but it is not necessary to show them in equal size. Please label photos with description included below. The art of bonsai originated in Asia, so if any Asian themes/elements/text style is appropriate, that could be good. But only if it works. If it doesn’t work, forget it. Please include the following text on the box somewhere: EasyStart Bonsai™ (on front of box) Everything you need to start four bonsai trees. “Kit includes: Seed packets for: Wisteria Sinensis (Chinese Wisteria) Picea Mariana (Black Spruce) Punica Granatum Nana (Dwarf Pomegranate) Jacaranda Mimosifolia Peat Pots Plant Markers Peat Soil Discs Complete Instructions” Include Hood River Home & Garden Logo – on box, but not too large – I am not emphasizing this brand name too much Include Barcode – lower right on back of box
Please see attached diagram.
