Apple Cider Molasses is an all natural ingredient , made from 100% apple cider, used by high end chefs & restaurants and sold in specialty food stores.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A label that conveys a very exclusive high product that caters to upscale restaurant and culinary professionals. I'd like it to be clean looking but also attractive on a shelf in a specialty food store (think Dean & DeLuca). Label size is: 8" x 3 1/2". It will be applied to a glass jar 2 3/4" diameter by 5 1/2" high. The front space on the label (that a customer would see on the shelf) is 4" wide x 3 1/2" tall. Nutritionals, ingredients, product description is on the back of the label. (refer to picture of current jar labeling... but don't laugh). On the "front" of the label include: Allens Hill Farmlogo, Pride of New York logo, and the following verbage "World's Finest Apple Cider Molasses tm", and" 12 fluid ounces". On the "sides" of the label leave a blank spot for nutritional analysis 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". Include: Made by: Allens Hill Farm 3663 County Road 40, Bloomfield, NY 14469. Ingredients: 100% apple cider, barcode, and description; Allens Hill Farm Apple Cider Molasses tm " Gourmet.com described our molasses as "“Smoky and tart, with deep notes of caramel and balsamic vinegar, it’s far more complex than your average molasses – but it’s also far more versatile” Made from 100 percent pure apple cider contains no added sugars, syrups or sweetners. Gourmet.com described our molasses as "“Smoky and tart, with deep notes of caramel and balsamic vinegar, it’s far more complex than your average molasses – but it’s also far more versatile” Gourmet.com referred to it as "Autumn in a jar" but I don't want it to come across as a seasonal item. This item can be used in glazes, baking, barbeque, dressings, marinades, and a host of other uses.Feel free to move the tree in the logo around.. The green in the logo needs to be a darker green. For some reason when I export this to a jpeg the green becomes more fluorescent, which I don't like. If you can change the pea green of the PONY logo, feel free! I included a picture of our current jar and labeling just so you can see the jar. We are keeping the jar.
