What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
It is a family owned business / property that was "established in 1860" with the production of wine and olive oil. Today wants to position itself through agrotourism, nature experiences + accommodation + local products, but whose target segment are lovers of Nature Tourism, Gastronomy & Wines and Cultural Landscape & Touring. One of its aims is to highlight the biodiversity of this region ( Vilariça Valley - Douro Valley Region) with special focus on bird watching. We intend to launch a red wine in January 2015 from the harvest of 2013 - The label design should reflect these values or philosophy.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I intend to create a label for a Red Wine from Douro Valley Region.
Brand Name / Label: REBOFA (regional term for what are known the
floods from the fertile Vilariça Valley near Douro River).
Region: Douro Valley
Country: Portugal (Product of Portugal)
(coherence in design, to allow philosophy adjacent to a whole range
of products and services, to create in the future, noticeable taking
into account this farm activities / experiences in agro tourism -
that's the basic identity image intended goal.)

The first attachment file depicts an image of the engraving situated atop the building entrance of the wine warehouse. The birds files are images of Upupa epops - migratory bird often spoted on site. The last file is a personal essay that can be improved through designers creativity ("Stencil" is the chosen font in "2013", brand name "Rebofa", "Douro", "Red Wine", because is particularly used allover Port wine warehouses throughout the Douro Valley region. Only the name of producer is defined by "Copperlight Gothic Light" font. The "biodiversity and floods" themes will be added / adapted by designers to this sample label - This file is just a simple example and needs improvement or just genius designer simplicity!
