Animal & Pet
We are a dog & cat food subscription home delivery service. We are online only with no brick & mortar location, and we sell only the best foods with high quality ingredients and no fillers or chemicals. We are pet food/pet health experts who specialize and sell only food. We are not a "pet store" selling all types of pet products. Most online pet food retailers are brick & mortar pet stores have thrown up a site to have an online presence, and they approach their site as pet store owners. While we are certainly "dog & cat people", we approach our store from a brand marketing standpoint and look to differentiate ourselves in that way. We sell premium (expensive) foods, and we want to have a brand image that justifies and is consistent with that. We are trying to reimagine the pet food buying experience so we don't want the typical mom & pop, pet store look that is so common. Here is an example of a typical pet store with a website dog food page: http://www.thehungrypuppy.com/dog-food.html In contrast, here is ours: http://www.baxtersdelivers.com/collections/dog-food Hopefully that helps illustrate how we would like our postcard to differ from the typical pet store postcard or yellow page ad.
What's your vision?
We need a postcard to handout at events as well as to use in direct mail campaigns (so it needs an area to print an address). Size is flexible, but should be optimized for printing. Double-sided. Needs to create awareness of our company and communicate the benefits of our products and convenient service while staying consistent with our high-end brand image. We prefer simple, quality design over something busy, crowded, and text heavy.
We try to differentiate ourselves from the other pet stores/services out there with design. Please reference our website: www.baxtersdelivers.com for more guidance. Here are some selling points to our products & service. This is meant to give you a full idea of what we offer and what our company is about. You can use as much or as little as you want in the postcard as you best see fit from a design & marketing standpoint. I usually break our company down into two categories. Which one you emphasize first depends on your particular marketing strategy. I'm inclined to emphasize the Benefits to the Owner first but am certainly open to either: Benefits to the Owner: 1) Convenient Home Delivery: We are an online but LOCAL pet food delivery service. Not thru UPS. You don't have to go to the store to buy and carry the big heavy bags of food. We deliver it to your doorstep. Deliveries are on a weekly basis. 2) Recurring Delivery or Subscription Service: You don't have to remember to go to the store or go online and order every time your pet needs more food. Our service is recurring and adjusts to your schedule so we do the remembering for you. You can email or even text when you need more food.3) A Simple Choice: You want only the best for your pet. When you go into a pet store and see 50 brands, the choice can be overwhelming. We have done the research to help narrow down the choices and offer you only the best for your pet. And our pet food experts are happy to talk to you to help decide what is best for your pet's unique needs. Benefits to the Pet: 1) Premium Ingredients: We offer only the very best food on the market. These are the top foods with loads of fresh animal protein, no grains or fillers, and no chemicals or preservatives. These foods nourish your pet the way nature intended. 2) Health Benefits: The common approach to pet nutrition is to feed pets the cheaper, big box foods, and then take them to the vet to treat their health problems. The high quality of our food (and more so the lack of poor quality ingredients) has a tremendous benefit on your pet's health. Our foods give your pet a healthier coat, eliminate skin allergies, and keep them happy, healthy, and out of the vet's office. Prevent disease through nutrition rather then treating the symptoms after the fact with medicine.
