Travel & Hotel
We provide electric bike tours and rentals in Auckland, New Zealand. All info on our tours and services can be found on our website: powertothepedal.com. Please take a look that for a better understanding of what we do, and the 'look and feel' of our brand (which would need to be reflected in the Flyer). Our target audience is primarily independent travellers and cruise ship passengers visiting Auckland, New Zealand on holiday. Main countries and areas they will be from are: USA, UK, South Africa, Canada, Western Europe. We also have customers from New Zealand - i.e. visiting Auckland on holiday or visiting friends and family here, or local Aucklanders who want to experience riding an electric bike.
What's your vision?
I need a flyer to promote my business. The flyers will be left in tourist information centres, with hotel concierges, cruise ship companies etc. - generally speaking they will be placed in racks of flyers from other competing providers of tours and other tourist activities, so it will need to be colourful and eye-catching in order to stand out in the crowd! I've attached some images illustrating the kind of environment the flyer will be displayed, along with some photos of the flyers of some of my competitors. The size of paper it will be printed on is 99mm x 210mm (sometimes referred to as "DL" size). This seems to be an industry standard size for this type of flyer. Generally, the top third of the flyer will be visible in the rack in which it is displayed (again, see the example images I've uploaded), so that portion of the flyer is particularly important/needs to be visually arresting. The flyer will need to be two-sided - i.e. content on the front and the back. On the front-side, the content that needs to be on the flyer includes: Logo - I've uploaded a copy of that (designed via 99designs!) Images of the experience - you will find a selection here: https://powertothepedal.smugmug.com/Website-pics As description of what we do - for example: Discover Amazing Auckland on an electric bike. We provide guided tours and rentals from our centrally located HQ in the heart of Auckland. As you glide effortlessly along on your electric bike, we'll show you the highlights of Auckland, all from a local's perspective. Or rent one of our amazing electric bikes to explore the city on your own. Auckland regularly ranks as one of the top 10 most liveable cities on Earth - we want to show you why! Contact details - e.g. phone number, email and website address (you can get all those details from the powertothepedal.com website). It would also be good to include a TripAdvisor logo, Facebook and Instragram logo - i.e. per the 'buttons' at the top of the home page of the powertothepedal.com website. Reverse side of the flyer: details of our 4 types of Tours (The Classic, The Local, The City Lights, Custom Tours): I suggest you check out the Tours pages on our website for the relevant details. Given there is not much space in the flyer, I think there detail would need to be per the headline on each individual Tour page and then the summary details provided at the top of the page - e.g. for The Classic tour, it would be: Our original and most popular city loop tour. See the best of Auckland by electric bike, without breaking a sweat! Departs: 9am, from our HQ at 9 Gore Street, Auckland city centre Duration: 4 hours Distance: Around 30 km (so, between 2 to 2.5 hours’ easy riding time – all electric powered!) Price: NZ$95 per person. Minimum age 16 years old. Tour size: Small groups of up to 6 riders, plus your friendly guide. It would be good to incorporate/use the images we've used on the website for each of these tours - e.g. per http://powertothepedal.com/tours/ There also needs to be a short section describing our Rentals - you can find the relevant details at http://powertothepedal.com/e-bike-rentals/ - I think the flyer just needs to mention the rental rates. At the bottom of the reverse side of the flyer, the contact details should also be repeated. And a small map (e.g. per Google) showing where we are would be good - but obviously there's a lot of detail on the flyer already - so space may be limited!! (some of the example photos of flyers attached include maps, so you can see what I mean)
