Great communication, went beyond my expectations! Highly recommend!
I have been thrilled with Ian's quality work. He has a keen eye for design and really made my work come alive in the manner I desired. He was easy to work with and timely in his communication and work products. So glad I found him here!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a church in Courtenay BC. Our target audience is kind of anyone who will look at our website but we'd be aiming at a younger audience. A younger audience on the west coast who appreciate simple and natural design.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am looking for a line of three super simple logos that each represent an important piece of the vision at our church. I'd like them to look similar and the best logos would be something that could be used in a bold way, like as a stand alone logo, or subtly in the corner of a poster. Our name doesn't need to be in each of these, but if there's some kind of connection to our brand that would be amazing! The three logos are:
1. Small Groups- these are smaller gatherings of people where the primary purpose is to build relationships. They are often stage of life specific (ie. young families often have small groups together).
2. Common College- These are classes that we offer periodically and we call it common college because it's common to anyone, anyone can take part, but it's educational, so we call it college. The goal of each class is to either help people gain a biblical worldview or to help people apply a biblical worldview to their lives. This logo will be stamped on any curriculum produced for this class.
3. Discovery Class- This class is regularly offered and is for anyone who is new to our church who wants to discover what we're about and what's to discover how they can get involved. This logo will be used every time we promote discovery classes and will be used within the material.
We have a brand, which I've attached. We haven't fully developed our feel yet, but we seem to be very into natural, rustic kind of looks. A lot of our backgrounds for slides are of west coast type things (big trees, ocean scenes, rain forest, and farms). Our website is also not carrying our brand super well yet but it's http://www.ngate.ca. Also, our lobby has lots of live edge wood table and counters and our stage backdrop is built out of pallets. If the logo could be as effective on a curriculum as it could painted on a reclaimed wood wall, that would be great!
Attached is our main logo, a simpler stamp of our logo, a photo with our backdrop, and a photo, though not all that clear, of looking out from our coffee bar in the lobby.
