Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
1Cover is a direct online travel insurance provider, specialising in cost effective and tailored travel insurance policies. 1Cover has grown to be one of the leading travel insurance providers within Australia, with over one million customer choosing 1Cover for their insurance.
1Cover is underwritten by one of the world’s leading insurance companies, Allianz. We have 24 hour emergency medical assistance all over the world and have helped a number of travellers.
At the beginning of 2013 1Cover changed it’s branding to focus more on travel. The new branding concept played on the emphasis of the 1 in 1Cover by making the 1 represent a number of travel icons e.g. surf board, suitcase, wheelie suitcase, snowboard and deck chair.
The new slogan for the brand was ‘travel insurance you can count on’ or ‘you can count on us’. The TV and radio commercials encompassed alteration of ‘one’.
‘One day one man was booked on a one pm flight from one of the world’s most isolated cities. There was just one problem. The one road to the airport crossed one of the rivers affected by one of the worst storms for one hundred years. So when one of the bridges collapsed, one thing was certain. He would miss the one weekly flight home, meaning one rather large hotel bill for one extra week. Fortunately he had 1Cover travel insurance.’
To get a feel of the 1Cover branding please see the branding guidelines and attachments. Please also view our website and TVC to get a feel of the current branding.

Target audience are people between the ages of 20-30 with an interest in travel.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want to create an infographic to display information around Australian traveller deaths overseas. The infographic is intended to educate people about the dangers of travel and the importance of having travel insurance. We want 1Cover to come off as the expert when it comes to safe travel.
The infographic will be shared on social media channels – in particular Facebook. We want users to engage with the infographic through clicks, likes, comments and shares.
The infographic is the first in a series of infographic that will be created for the 1Cover brand. The successful designer can look forward to working with 1Cover on future graphics and infographics.
Even though the content of the infographic is death we want the design to be eye-catching and fun like the 1Cover brand. Feel free to be creative with the design of the infographic.
Develop an infographic around the information provided about deaths of Australians overseas.
The copy is provided.
The designer can be as creative as they wish, sticking to the 1Cover brand guidelines.
Needs to include some of the 1Cover brand colours but also additional colours to add to the appearance.
Needs to have the 1cover logo and contact information at the end of the infographic.
The infographic needs to be an image JPEG file.
Ideal size for an image to be shared as a highlighted image on Facebook is 843 x 504 px.
We are flexible with this size as long as the user can read all the information once they click the image. And that the image appeals when seen in the news feed.
We would like the infographic to be vertical orientation.
Attached is an example of infographic – we envision ours to communicate the messages in a similar way.
The word doc is the copy.
And other assets are attached.
