jmflorent got their new app design by running a design contest:
An organizer app for winning life's battles

Attorney & Law
We want to build a mobile app for CaseJourney. We expect this to be the primary interface to consumers (not businesses). In the app Users will see their Cases, add emails, PDFs, photos, videos, audio and more. Cases are their primary grouping that they want to collect information for. Examples are everything for a car crash (photos, email, notes, etc.), buying a house, getting a visa, making a warranty claim. We have a full logo design guide which will be added from another campaign we ran. The key activities for a Case will be adding things and searching for them. Cases can also be shared among paying users. Sign up for a free account at app.casejourney.com to see the current features but understand it is an MVP and not ideally thought through. Think of a difficult task in your own life and how an organizer would be best designed to help you. CaseJourney is about chronology, it's about grouping like items (emails, photos), it's about finding what you need.
We have a brand guide from an earlier contest
After login the User will have a way to select their cases, view contents of a case, add to those contents, take/import photos/video/recordings, scan documents with the camera. They will also have a profile screen for account details and subscription information.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at $599.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their app design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
jmflorent collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Stefano really understood the essence of the brief to come up with a design that wowed us on the first draft. He focused on a bold presentation of the user's data, an appreciation of how people rely on visual memory, and a simplification of the web concept we had started with optimized for the mobile platform. As we refined the design for the final files he was prompt and responsive (we wrapped up everything in 3 days).
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
