Create a mobile app design for WOOJO, a party and festival dating app.

Dating

The application allows people to connect with eachother at an event (party, festival, ...). The concept is based on a wristband given at the entrance to the event, on which a big number is printed. Using this number, people can like other people in the application. The person that was liked can then see the first name, wristband number and photos of the one that liked them, and like back. If there is a match (mutual like), they can chat during or after the event.

We'd like to stick with the logo's colors, which are also the landing page's main colors. They are #39d5ea and #f8c300. Gray and white can also be used. For splashscreens or illustrations within the app we'd like pictures such as the one on the landing page, representing people having fun at parties or festivals. The best is when their hands are visible up in the air, and you could imagine a bracelet on their wrists. The app should reflect party, fun, playing, positive attitude, meeting new people and connecting. We'd like a rather lean, clear and flat design. There is some user generated content such as profile photos for users, and one small picture per event to illustrate it in the list.

LOGIN SCREEN At first load, users are presented with a Facebook login button. ACTIVATE WRISTBAND SCREEN After login, they reach a page where they can activate a new tag (wristband). They have to choose between scanning the QR code on the wristband or manually selecting the event on another screen. LIKE SCREEN If users like someone at the party, they can enter that person's number in a form field on this screen. The like can be anonymous or not (toggle). On this screen, they can also see who liked them and who they liked. They should be able to unlike someone they liked, or like back someone who liked them with one button. CHATS SCREEN On this screen, users can see the people they matched with at the party, and tap to chat with them. NOTE: Notifications are accumulative, they are user-wide. Chats however are event-wide (for the moment). When you click a notification in the app, it will open the corresponding chat if it's a new message notification, or open the corresponding "like" or "chats" page if they're new like or new match notifications. The likes and chats are currently grouped per event. All the tags you have activated are present in the menu and clicking one of them will display the "like" screen for that event. There is a tab interface that allows to switch to the "chats" screen for that event. If you have an idea to effectively group all chats together across events or even all likes we are open to suggestions. It could be nice to keep the menu smaller by avoiding to have all tags stacking up, making other menu entries more difficult to reach. I thought about an interface for example where you have a general "like" page and you can select the event for which you are about to like, for example from a dropdown. The "activate tag" screen would just add an extra tag in this dropdown allowing the user to "like as, for example 102 @ Great Party". There would then be a general chat page grouping all matches from all events. This would make the app neater if we find a way to make it efficiently. Again open to suggestions on this ;) SINGLE CHAT SCREEN This is a typical chat screen like in Whatsapp or Tinder. People can see the other user's profile photo, first name, number and tap to see all their pictures. The conversation is also there with a field to send messages.

We would like to avoid hearts and symbols which are typical of a dating app. The app should be about fun, partying and playing. Not too serious. The current app is a hybrid app written using Ionic to build across iOS and Android. Keep in mind that our team will have to translate your design to HTML/CSS ;) Thanks!
