We may paint the logo on a wall too. So would prefer a logo not too complex.
Also - we will be exclusively Sherlock Holmes-themed. That means the puzzle rooms will have a Holmes storyline. However, we do NOT want the website logo or design to have any obvious Sherlock Holmes related symbol (silhouette of Holmes or silhouette of him and Dr Watson, his hat, trench coat, smoking pipe, magnifying glasses). On the other hand, we do welcome subtle imagery that hints at detective work.
Also - the four images I have uploaded represent the themes of each of the four rooms. You will notice that the wording is a variant of the name of one of the cases from the Sherlock Holmes adventures.
I would like to have an image be a link to description for each room. I am seeking alternative designs for the images. The goal is to show a sense of vintage & mystery via these images (along with the right figure for the theme of course). If you like these images and would like to keep using them, I would appreciate your help in making them smaller to expedite webpage loading. Currently the largest picture is 90kb.
Also - We call ourselves 59:59 because 59:59 is one second before one hour is up. This is when the game is over and the team is determined to have been successful or otherwise.
Lastly, one idea for the logo is to have the floorplan of a room with one door open, to represent the "escape" from a room. So it'd be a rectangle with a "lifted" segment on one of its sides, see one of the attached pictures. But I'm open to other ideas too. One might consider creating images off the words 59:59, and if so, please make sure the users can quickly recognize the words are indeed 59:59.
