How eTest started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
eTest Network or eTest Express
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We do environmental testing. We are striving to be the most innovative company in the industry.
We test for asbestos, mold, and lead. Pretty boring right?! So we are investing in software to do everything online and on tablets. The logo will be used for our website and software, so it needs to be simple. Our website, which is about to get a total redesign is etestnetwork.com. Feel free to look it over and let us know if you have any questions.
Finally we work in the Mountains of Colorado and have been called by some clients, "the fastest test in the west" Kind of corny but we do focus on getting things done quickly.
Our target clients are insurance companies, property restoration companies, and remodelers. We also work for property owners but we focus on repeat business customers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.

We currently use the logo attached. We want a design that is simple but powerful. Easily able to be recognized, easy to put on logo'd items, apparel, and software icons. The flag logo was something I made when goofing around. People here do love the flag but I don't want to be locked into it if we expand beyond the state. I included it because I think it's cool.
One idea that i had was to make a stylized "e" in the form of a microscope. I'm not married to the idea but it was a thought.
The red logo is a burton logo. It is simple and I like it as a basic design. The sketch I uploaded is the initials for eTest and it shows a little bit of how I think the microscope could look. Maybe it will help with guidance.
