Extremely professional and dedicated to his designs. The idea I had in mind was vague and our designer certainly exceeded our expectation.

How InnovativeAutomation started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We design, engineer and install custom automation systems for large-scale agriculture, to allow customers to monitor and control all aspects of their facility and capture detailed data to help improved yield and save on utility and labor costs. We are a Colorado-based company and currently work with a variety of growers (yes, including marijuana grow facilities -- it's legal!) We are seeking a logo that presents engineering, technological, and agricultural elements.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Black, gray/silver, green, blue
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
UPDATE: from the designs thus far, we're liking the symbols that incorporate gear / leaf / water elements, and prefer those that are less rounded and appear more sophisticated and simple than bubbly /cartoonish. And we prefer all caps for the lettering.
We are seeking a logo that is modern, sleek and clean -- simple, not too busy. We would like it to represent both the agriculture and engineering aspects -- perhaps incorporate green hues to represent agriculture, gray/silver/black and white for a technological / modern feel, and perhaps blue as a small feature or secondary color, to represent water. We prefer clean, san serif fonts -- see http://www.innovativeautomationag.com (just a homepage at this point). We will be using this logo for website and print materials so versatility is essential. The logo should help translate the idea that we serve a broad spectrum of large-scale agricultural facilities. Design-wise, given the length of the two words of our business name, I would like to see a logo with the words stacked on top of each other
