Even tho this is a gaming company, the logo must look sharp and professional. The logo must be easy to read(meaning, no super-weird fonts). The OP part of the logo, I believe should be part of a graphic that is very recognizable and memorable. . The OP stands for "Over Powered", which is a common gaming term for anything that is too good, too strong. Our goal with the logo is for the OP part of the logo to become iconic that anyone knows what it is / who it is. We will re-use the OP part of the logo for other logos in the future, such as for "PlayerOP" etc. The OP could look any way(as long as it's easy to recognize it is OP). One idea for how it could look would be some type of shield or badge that the OP would be written on in big letters. The OP should REALLY pop-out and look strong, without looking unprofessional looking, so the balance between fun and serious is important.Thank you and best of luck with your entry into the contest, I'll work hard to get feedback for all designers ASAP!
Our target audience is primarily Major Fortune 1000 companies who could become sponsors of these gaming teams, players and venues that we represent as an agency. So, altho we're a gaming company, our logo must look very professional and inspire trust in these major companies who research or find our website. Secondarily, our target is professional gaming teams, players and major gaming venues who could become our clients.
As of now this looks to be the template I'm going to use for the 1st version of the website so a logo that matches well here would be nice: http://www.leonart.gr/htmlthemes/restart_v1.1/index.html.
I will attempt to find some style examples as reference to add to here.
