I don't think this happens often but the winner ended up being one of the first designs submitted. We knew right away that it was a great logo for our business. We liked the clean lines and the eye catching coordination of the design. We loved that the name of our restaurant popped. This design is versatile and ageless. The designer was good to work with and was quick to make the changes we requested. The designer was also willing to try some variations and didn't complain when we didn't keep them. All in all, a good experience with this designer.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a small bar and pool hall. We offer our customers a full service bar and entertainment, mainly billiards and other games as well as musical entertainment such as bands and DJs. We are not a restaurant, but we do offer a small food menu, mainly fried appetizer type foods we call "bar snacks." We are looking for a logo that will attract an audience between the ages 25-40 and clearly represents what we are, a bar and billiards (not a restaurant). More emphases on the pool hall side. Something sophisticated, but still fun and a possibly a mix between traditional saloon style and modern bar style. We try to project an atmosphere that is fun and relaxed, but more mature than your average 21 year old. Mature fun if you will.
