Jawoo Koo got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for the world's most popular agricultural modeling software - DSSAT
Check out Jawoo Koo's Logo design contest…
DSSAT (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer) is an academic software that simulates growth, development, and yield of over 30+ crops, as a function of the soil-plant-atmosphere dynamics. DSSAT has been used by agricultural researchers, educators, extension agents, growers, and policy makers in 100+ countries for more than 20 years - for many types of applications ranging from on-farm decisions on the efficient use of resources to global assessments of the impact of new technologies, climate variability and climate change.
Logo types to explore
Today more than ever, increased crop production depends on judicious use of resources. In addition, issues such as climate change, climate variability, soil carbon sequestration, biofuels, long-term food security and environmental sustainability have become important issues. Computer simulation models of the soil/plant/atmosphere system can make a valuable contribution to both furthering our understanding of the processes that determine crop responses and predicting crop performance, resource use and environmental impacts for different environments and management scenarios. User-oriented simulation models greatly facilitate the task of optimizing crop growth and deriving recommendations concerning crop management. They can also be used to determine the potential impact of climate change on crop production and long-term soil carbon sequestration, or provide management scenarios for adapting to climate change and variability. It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Jawoo Koo collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
