New logo wanted for Upper Constantia

Upper Constantia

Upper Constantia is a guest house, but think of it more like a small boutique hotel with a customised service to luxurious travellers. The very spacious property is situated in Constantia, which is the oldest suburb in South Africa, leafy and forested with many greenbelts and waterfalls, forming part of the Constantia wine route within the city of Cape Town. It is also close to the world known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

We are targeting mainly tourists from abroad (USA, UK, Europe, Australia) but also South Africans that are here for a wedding, or wine tasting. Most of our customers play golf, or love the outdoors. They all speak English, love fine dining, wines, arts and heritage culture.

Please note the following points:

1) The logo should be approximately square e.g. width=height as it will be used in Facebook, Twitter etc. which all require squarish type logo formats

2) It has to be on white/transparent PNG background and must not require a border around it - must work free-standing

3) Should work in both color and b/w and grey tones

4) The name "Upper Constantia" does not necessarily need to be part of the (square) logo - if the logo fits next to it the name Upper Constantia can be in type face next to it even if it then is not square. Also possible to play with the letters "U" and "C" in the logo

With regards to tone: We like the logo to be timeless and rather colonial than too modern.
