St. Paul's Stewardship 2014
This is the annual pledge campaign for St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral. Each year we ask our members to consider making or renewing a financial pledge for the coming year, by first taking time to consider the blessings they have received in the past year. Their pledge is what supports the mission and ministry of the Cathedral. To stimulate their thinking, we present a campaign based on a theme from the bible. This year's theme comes from the book of Revelations when God says, "Behold, I am making all things new." The theme relates to those times in our lives when we were transformed by an unexpected blessing - particularly in times of challenge or loss. Those times when God snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, when we were sure our life was falling apart, only to later discover it was actually coming together.
Logo types to explore
I have uploaded logos from past years as well as the official cathedral logo. the tagline: "St. Paul's Stewardship 2014" should be in our official font, GIL SANS MT EXT CONDENSED BOLD. The "St Paul's" portion of the tag line should be in our official green color which is RGB: R 72, G 93, B 0 or pms 7496. The remaining part of the tagline, "Stewardship 2014" can be in whatever color you think looks good -to tie in with the colors you use in the logo (red, orange, etc). Experiment with both styles: "I Am Making All Things New" as well as a shorter version, "All Things New" Don't make it "corporate" style, this is more about art, poetry, and the imagination. We like to use icons and classic art. Images that incorporate the "New Jerusalem" better know as the "City on a Hill" motif might also be good. I attached a couple of logos that use that.
