Watch City Research got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for user experience research freelancer who will build an awesome UX lab for usability testing

I'll be starting out as a freelance user experience researcher, but aim to open a premier UX lab in the near future. UX research entails talking with people and watching them use products to see how we can make them more intuitive to use. The "lab" is similar to a focus group setup, with a two-way mirror and observation room, not a lab with beakers and such. I'd prefer any graphics to focus on a watch/clock instead of a city.
I have 13+ years experience conducting UX research and plan on focusing on product usability. The lab space will have features to test appliances, medical devices, and other digital or physical experiences. Watch City is a reference to Waltham, MA, where I'll be based. Can't use blue/gold combo due to local competitor; I also need to stay away from teal/aqua.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
