How jcwootten started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
I do but want that done as a secondary logo - not primary.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We want to sell our own branded pet (dog first) products on our website http://www.rutroh.com and secondary, we would like to have a small boutique store that sells pet supplies (mainly dog). We want the logo to attract the dog owner who will buy or do anything for his/her dog. We plan to sell high-end (likely organic) dog food and healthy treats, the latest cool dog toys and cool dog accessories (collars, leashes, jackets/costumes, dog beds, etc.). But again our core focus is to build our business of selling apparel to dog owners (T-Shirts) and accessories for the owners our our furry friends (i.e. branded shirts, bumper stickers, coffee mugs, etc.). Looking ahead, we ultimately would like to sell our products to other retail stores vs. grow our retail store front presence. (i.e. similar to the Life is Good brand, the http://www.chive.com (Stay Calm and Chive On), or http://www.baseballism.com. We want to be like them for of the pet industry. We will create a model that every shirt purchase, goes to a pet charity. This project is our first focus which will be our core design.... rutroh (both retro and playful at same time). We have so many friends lining up to buy a rutroh shirt already! We want our brand to feel cool and people feel like they sell good products and promote on feeding dogs HEALTHY food. I would like to build an ongoing relationship with the winner for many future projects.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I would like all the letters in rutroh to be lowercase, thick, and perhaps two different colors (rut one color and roh another) - but not sold on that. Just lowercase, thick, and some sort of a dog (or markings of a dog) in logo
I would like to come out of here and be able to trademark the logo and sell my first rutroh t-shirt. After that initial catch brand is established. I will look to add "SPOILED HEALTHY DOGS" as a tag line under. But that's project #2.......
