Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an industrial supply business that primarily sells rope but will be diversifing in safety equipments, industrial gloves, and other commercial products that are used in manufacturing, mining, commercial fishing, construction, oil/gas and shipping. We import products from around the world and sell them to industrial supply warehouses or direct to customers for resell or use. So our target audience is small to mid-size industrial organizations. Our customers are primarily located in southern United States.

Logo types to explore

We currently have a logo the has CT surrounded by a rope with a knot at the bottom. This was designed in the 1960's. We would like to modernize it more and convey the youth and energy that we now have infused. Like us, most our customers are family owned businesses who have involved children and grandchildren. So we sell to a mix of men and women now. So our logo can't be so masculine that it gets lost with women. But it can't be mostly feminine. We are a small (but successful) family owned and operated business that has been in business since the 1920's. Our family has owned it since 1956. We are very prideful and value our history. A logo the reflects the history and our future will resonate well with us. We like the idea of using CT (for Cord-Tex) or CTC (for Cord-Tex Company) or even using the name or both. The logo will be used for letterhead, invoicing, emails, t-shirts, and a sign on the side of the warehouse. We are very excited and look forward to everyone's suggestions!!!
