The Irish Pub Challenge: Boston is an annual pub crawl that takes place at local Irish pubs in and around Faneuil Hall, serving as a kick-off to the local St. Patrick’s Day events. Originally created in 2008 as a way for Tenon Tours, a local Irish tour operator, to promote travel to Ireland, the event has since grown into a self-sustained event which brought 4,000 participants to more than 30 local pubs in 2013.Our audience is 60/40 women to men, with the largest majority being between the ages of 21 and 24.

I've attached the logo we had last year, which we like, but we're expanding the Pub Challenge to incorporate more cities now, so we need a streamlined main logo that will have the ability to incorporate different cities. The following elements MUST be included:
- Irish Pub Challenge
- City Name (use Boston as an example)
- Date (use March 8, 2014 for an example)
- 6th annual
- pint glass
- Shamrock Nation (headline sponsor) shamrock (image attached)
We also need a design that's appealing to both men and women, and would really like to stray from last year's logo that just had a large white block in the middle of a t-shirt. We desperately want something that people will actually wear and think is cool. Originality is a HUGE element for us as well. We don't want something that looks like a beer bottle label or anything like that. We also can't stress enough that we absolutely DESPISE the kitschy "drunken leprechaun" "clinking pint glasses" looks that come from your typical St. Patrick's Day festivities and pub crawls.
The IPC 2011 logo is one of our favorites. Please feel free to add any Celtic designs to make it flow, or use more horizontal space, etc.
