Forge Product Development LLC

We offer 3D CAD drafting and design services to inventors and businesses, primarily focusing on product development. We also provide manufacturing support via tooling, fixture, and process design. We cater to law firms and inventors by providing illustrations for patent applications. A large portion of our business is in the firearms industry. Our goal is to take the customers idea and help make it a reality.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

The design, both the art and text portions, will be printed on business cards, document headers and put in email signatures and on the company web page. It will also be engraved on parts, and embroidered on company apparel. Because it will be engraved it should be legible and distinctive even in black and white.
We would like the text to include "Forge Product Development LLC". The art can include the letter "F" or the word "Forge". Features to include are metal working tools such as a black smith hammer, anvil, or forge. However, the feeling should favor creation rather than metal working. The design should be clean and efficient, combining rustic elements with clean edges.
We do not want the design to be overly detailed/intricate, as the detail would be difficult to maintain at a small size, or while engraving. We would like the art portion of the design to be recognizable without the "product development" text, this is why we like the idea of incorporating the "F" or “Forge” in the art. We would prefer a symbol, letter or word that can be used on its own to represent the entire design. We do not want the design to be only black and white, there should be color in it, but it should also be recognizable in black and white. We do not want a design that does not have an art element.
Our current logo is attached. It is not engravable due to the loss of charecter when in black and white. Also there is no art element and we are looking for a better font.
