JoniJoni's designs for our new logo had potential right from the beginning - creative, sensitive to our project needs and the specifics of our organization. She was responsive to any suggestions, and prompt in completion of what I requested. I would work with this designer again if we have a need.

How drcarol S started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Dr Carol Ministries (I'd be interested in logos without the name included also.)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Dr Carol Ministries provides tools, training, and experience to help confused but committed people of faith take charge of their health in every area of their lives so that they can experience the emotional and physical energy they need to accomplish what God has given them to do.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision.

I write an active blog. I have a health book being published, scheduled to release in February, 2016. I am an OB-Gyn physician, ordained Christian minister, writer, and speaker. We are currently beginning production of our television program. The logo will be used in all these areas.
The logo should make sense without the full ministry name being included, although you are free to use the ministry name if you wish. (I have contemplated using a Bible and a stethoscope, for example.)
My eyes are blue. My picture will be in many promotional and online materials, and a logo should look good in the same graphics (headers, flyers, etc) with my blue eyes. Logo may be in color, but should also be easily understood if rendered in grey scale.
I have very little visual creativity myself, so please feel free to be creative. I will interact at least daily, and give feedback on any designs submitted.
I've attached a recent personal photo - this one or one similar will be used in much of our materials where the logo will be used. I've also attached a couple recent email headers we've used - only to demonstrate the thinking we have had to this point.
Excited to see what you come up with.
