Hi,

Champi is a french (Quebec) startup company. We specialize in the gourmet mushroom industry with fresh and unique product of very high quality.
Our main products are Fresh oysters, shiitake and pioppinos mushrooms.
We don't (and won't) sell the agaricus or "button" mushroom.
We want to sell products that are not on the market, and if they are: we work them in a unique way (using different growing technique or rare mushroom strains in order to make them different and better).

Champi is for Champignon, it's like Mush for Mushroom.

What we do:
We grow and sell fresh mushrooms to restaurants and we also make "grow at home" mushroom kits/box so people and students can enjoy the fun of growing their own mushrooms, very easily.

We would like to brand both products with the same logo, but we think the design should be a bit more oriented towards the kit product.

The logo will be used on:

-The banner of our website

-twitter/facebook (depending on the size, width vs height of the logo, we might have to only take a portion of it so it fits the small box I guess)

-Cards, brochure.

-The mushroom kit box (we will put a sticker in front of a brown recycled cardboard box like one of these: http://www.fold-pak.com/Products/Bi…Earth.htm)

- On brown paper bags along with a description of the product. (we sell our fresh mushrooms in paper bags because it's the best kind of container to preserve fresh mushrooms).

-T-shirts, our delivery car, etc.

We might like to have the ".ca" at the end of the logo. It could be smaller or of differant color, feel free to make how you want it. The brand name is Champi, but the website aspect is important to us.

We don't mind stylized typos, as long as it's really easy to read.

For the colors, keep in mind the brown paper bags and cardboard box. We love nice vivid/natural green. Unisex colors. I really don't want to restrain you in the color scheme. Be creative.

We dont like blurry pictures, we like sharp pictures (unless its a design choise or something).

We bring a fun (and a bit weird/special/positive) learning experience for students and familly with our oyster mushroom kit.

We definitively are a green company with ecology in mind (in the manifacturing methods, recycled packaging and local food delivery.
