How tueroth started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a small chain of private daycare/kindergarten centres in Copenhagen Denmark. We cater to children between 10 months and 6 years.
We have a slight academic focus (more so than most other Danish daycares), serve nearly all organic-food and are socially responsible. It's not only about the children - we aim at providing service and peace of mind to the parents also, who are the ones paying for our services.
The name is comprised of “Trygge “ and “Instituioner”.
"Trygge" means safe/comforting/secure – as you would feel in your own home.
"Institutioner" means institutions which covers daycares, kindergartens and things like that.
In this way the name itself says a lot about what we do.
Each of our daycares are named after an animal. E.g. “Trygge Institutioner, The Giraffe”. “Trygge Institutioner, The Swan”.
Our target audience are:
• Women between 25 and 35 years of age (mean age of 29,1 years) - however the choice of daycare must be accepted by the husband.
• Often well educated and have started their career
• Carrying or have just given birth to their first child

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
If you google "daycare logos" you get a lot of really bad logos. We want to get a more professional feel while still making sure that the ones who see our logo knows what we do and that it is easily recognizable.
Until now we have "branded" the daycares separately, i.e. "Childhouse The Swan", "Childhouse The Giraffe", but now want to have everything under one brand name with individual subnames.
