What’s your company slogan?
Dare to Be
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are the Democratic Party in Ottawa County, Michigan. It is a majority conservative area, but following the 2016 election, we have gotten a surge in interest from local progressives to join our mission, which is to elect Democrats in our county. We are hoping to redesign our logo and refresh our brand in a way that excites people to volunteer and/or donate. New people to our group often say that they thought they were the only Democrat in our county, and are surprised to find so many others at our meetings. Our new slogan "Dare to Be" is intended to encourage progressives to be open about their political beliefs and that they will find a welcome home in our party. With this slogan, we also want to encourage people to share why they are Democrat, whatever the reason. For instance "Dare to Be Pro Immigration," Dare to Be a Feminist," "Dare to Be an Environmentalist," etc.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our full official name is "Ottawa County Democratic Party." We are leaning toward using either "Ottawa Dems" or "Ottawa Democrats" going forward instead. We are open to suggestions. Our website is http://www.ottawadems.com. After receiving a new logo, our plan is to redesign the website and other marketing materials. We will likely want to enlist the help of the winning designer for these projects as well. You can also see more on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/OttawaDems/
Lastly, we request no donkeys or at least minimal use of donkeys in the design.
