Bar & Nightclub
Heights Tavern on Adams Avenue is a local restaurant/bar that serves gourmet bar food, craft beer, and craft cocktails. When I say gourmet don't get the wrong idea, we are not fine dining. Our menu was crafted by a local award winning chef but we serve burgers, brats, fries, wet fires (topped with chili, braised short ribs etc.) salads, and a couple of vegetarian dishes that fit the neighborhood. Our plates and skillet dishes are masculine and give the impression of strength and finesse as does our decor. Our decor uses the original open beam ceiling and concrete brick walls, our floors are polished concrete, use reclaimed lumber throughout, as well as dark steel beams and rivets as accents. The wall and floor colors are cool but everything else is rich and warm. It is necessary for the font of the logo to be used in different ways whether it’s in the whole logo or just taken to put on a shirt or card. When you see the logo it will read Heights Tavern Adams Avenue. When it is written in print we will say Normal Heights on Adams Avenue. We are in a city called Normal Heights hence “Heights Tavern” but the street we are on “Adams Avenue” is the focal point of the area and more people recognize the street over the area. The goal of this name and logo is to tell people who we are and where we are in the name.
