308fal got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Help Farm Store with a new logo

Animal & Pet
We are a farm supply store. We sell fencing, landscaping supplies, work clothes, animal feed, supplies and toys for horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. We serve all kinds of clients from farmers with no animals, to 5,000 animals, to people that live in town and own one cat. We are located on the Oregon Coast.
Logo types to explore
Because we serve such a broad customer base, we do NOT want a logo that focuses on one group of our customers that the rest won't like (like having only a cat in our logo, that will offend the dog owners). -Do NOT want specific animals in the logo (with the possible exception of a chicken/rooster.) -Should convey we are a farm store, WITHOUT making us look like we specialize in one category (animals, clothing, fencing, etc) -Want something warm, friendly, and stylish. -Interested in the name being a somewhat script like font, and/or an old time western/antique font (think 1900's Sears and Roebuck catalogs/advertisements). I've attached some pictures of 1900's era fonts for examples. Font should be easy to read. Ideas might be just our name with some grass growing by it, and maybe the sun by it. Or maybe something that incorporates a barn, fence, weather-vane, or windmill. Want something warm and farm like, that isn't overly detailed and will transfer to black and white well. Will want files for a color version and files for a black and white version.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
