Living Savior Lutheran Church & Preschool is a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry. We share the gospel of Jesus through the Bible-- God's Word. We seek to connect people to God, connect through God's Word, and connect to our community through outreach. Also, if it is better to have the full name, "Living Savior Lutheran Church & Preschool", that's fine.

If it is helpful, our facility has some stain glass and brick exterior with a heavy wood-trim design on the inside... features which were designed with the "arts and crafts" concept that is unique to the Asheville area. Also, geographically, we are in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The broader concept of sharing God's Word with the mountains of Western North Carolina may also be of note. It was the premise behind the previous, outdated logo. In addition to what I uploaded, you can see pictures of our building and ministry on our website (lsavior.org) and our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/LivingSaviorAsheville).
I also want to add that this logo is going to be bigger deal in the coming years because we are going to be expanding ministry which will likely entail starting a satellite location, reaching out to inner city Asheville, and possibly a building project for an education wing. Since the impact of this logo is going to be the face of all of those efforts in addition to all that we are doing now, then this logo is all-the-more important to us.
I should also add that it would be helpful if our logo could be used to communicate different aspects of our ministry. For example, there are some churches that have a logo of which different aspects (or closely related visuals) communicate different functions like "Worship, Grow, Share, Serve" or "Love God, Love People, Serve All". William Mancini's approach in explaining the function, or story-telling aspect, of the logo is very helpful in explaining what we are looking for (http://www willmancini com/2014/12/12-church-logos-that-tell-a-story-and-why-yours-should-too html).
