Allison did an excellent job designing my book cover. The beauty of her art speaks for itself, but I would add the following info:
- She is friendly, flexible, punctual, and has excellent communication skills.
- She has technical knowledge and skill as well as artistic talent. For example, she was able to advise me about how the printing process might alter the colors in my design, etc.
I would definitely work with Allison again!
How danteg started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Rick Green - U.S. Congress
What’s your company slogan?
Go Green in 18 (not necessary to incorporate but that is something we use in social media and such)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Rick Green is running for Congress in an open seat in Massachusetts.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Rick Green would like to incorporate the color green into the logo - although this is indeed a political organization, we are hoping to use branding that is not so overtly political (which is why we are crowdsourcing the project and not simply putting the candidate's name over an American flag and calling it a day) and a little bit more subtle.
The candidate is a non-incumbent, and non-challenger, meaning he is running in an "open seat" so we are thinking of something that is forward thinking, brings to mind "newness" and isn't the type of old stale political branding that is all too common in today's political landscape.
To be clear, we do not dislike the logos that I have attached, but we are underwhelmed with the design and would like to explore some other options and iterations. ALSO! we kind of like the tagline "Go Green" and "Go Green in 18" or "Go Green 2018"
