Animal & Pet
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that rescues dogs at risk of being destroyed in puppy mills and animal shelters. We rescue and rehabilitate them and then find them loving homes. Many of the dogs we rescue are those that will not be saved without our help.
Logo types to explore
We are looking for a unique creative logo that will help bring brand recognition to our organization. We want out logo to be differentiating rather than another "me too" looking logo. The focus of our organization is on dogs only right now. If I were to select 3 words to describe our organization it would be driven unwavering individualized. What sets our organization apart from many other rescue groups is our unique approach to placing the right dog with the right family. Whereas many organizations use a checklist to determine whether a family is suitable for a dog, we look at the unique needs of each dog and match it with the lifestyle of a family and the characteristics that are important to them. We work through obstacles and challenges that many rescues choose not to face. Our logo should be versatile enough to leverage in a webbanner as well as on merchandise, business cards, tshirts, which means it would be ideal if it looked well when utilized in a portrait or landscape formatted item. We really are not partial to a specific approach such as using an iconic figure versus coming up with a logo using for example our initials DCAR. We are starting to gain some recognition in our business segment using DCAR alone. I hope providing a little more info about us will help inspire you and we look forward to seeing some creative designs that reflect who we strive to be as an organization.
