marissa.fry got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a fun kids lifestyle logo for YouTube Kids channel
Check out marissa.fry's Logo design contest…
Alix & Jack Jack is a YouTube kids channel all about siblings Alix (3yo girl) and Jack, nicknamed Jack-Jack (boy 1yo). The primary target audience is a toddler to about age 6; secondary are mommas. Videos will showcase field trips (e.g. the beach, avocado farms, zoos, animal farms etc.), cooking, science experiments, art fun, board games, and cultural activities. Alix and Jack's background is Filipino, Scottish, German, and Japanese.
I'm open to the logo being horizontal or stacked. I'm open to either ampersand or "and", whatever you think makes more sense for your design. Since the channel is all about Alix & Jack I'm also open to including illustration/cartoon of them as well (photos attached) but OPTIONAL. Cultural elements would be nice too, but again, optional. Style of logo should be fun and playful and most importantly, appealing to the toddler/preschool age group. The vision is that once a logo and style and designer established we'll move into further design help for social media, web, motion graphics, and merchandise. I'm open on color options. Feel should illicit general happiness and joy and touch of wildness. About Alix: Alix is a fun and energetic 3yo girl. She loves pretend play (dress up mash up of Belle and Batman) and especially loves to bake. Her favorite television/movie shows are Doc McStuffins, Topsy & Tim, Moana, Sleeping Beauty, Wreck-It-Ralph, Coco, and lastly, Ina Garten cooking shows that cover any kind of dessert. She loves soccer and is learning how to ride a balance bike and when bored, she twirls. Her favorite books are Winnie-The-Pooh, and Pete-The-Cat or Fly Guy series. Her favorite cook book is "Cooking Class" by Deanna Cook and she's made just about every recipe. About Jack: He LOVES zoo/farm animals, dinosaurs, and cars/trucks and generally makes the corresponding noises when he plays. Most of the time he tries to emulate whatever his big sister is doing. His favorite movie character is Maui from Moana, and he absolutely loves Sesame Street, specifically Cookie Monster. He loves music and loves to be outside. His favorite book is "How Does A Dinosaur Say Goodnight" and they both love Picturepedia which like the name suggests, essentially a encyclopedia for toddler/preschoolers.
